Hi! I’m Ceyda, and I’m excited to help you improve your English in a way that’s fun, practical, and tailored just for you. I became fluent in English during my last three years of high school in South Africa, where I studied the IEB curriculum (IB equivalent). Since then, I’ve continued using and refining my English, so I understand the language deeply. I’m also fluent in Turkish and Dutch, and I have a working knowledge of French, which helps me relate to language learners and understand the challenges of learning a new language firsthand.
I love connecting with people and making lessons enjoyable, whether it’s through conversation practice, grammar, or exam preparation. I’m patient, organized, and adaptable, and I always focus on creating a supportive environment where mistakes are just stepping stones to success.
Between March 2025 and August 2025 , I worked as a substitute teacher, oral examiner and english camp teacher at Kids and Us, an English language school for children, gaining hands-on experience helping students improve their speaking skills. Since September 2025, I’ve been working as an English teacher at Kids and Us, teaching students aged 4–10. I focus on creating fun, engaging, and supportive lessons that help young learners build confidence and enjoy learning English.
Having lived in Turkey, Belgium, and South Africa, I enjoy bringing different perspectives and real-life examples into my lessons to make learning more engaging. I’m excited to meet you and help you achieve your English goals!

My lessons are personalised, practical, and focused on real communication. Rather than using the same approach with every student, I adapt each lesson to your level, goals, interests, and learning style. Whether you want to improve your speaking, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, or prepare for an exam, you’ll spend less time simply memorising and more time actually using English.
I believe the best way to become confident is to speak without being afraid of making mistakes. My lessons are relaxed and interactive, with conversation, real-life situations, and clear explanations that help you understand not only what is correct, but why. I’ll encourage you, correct you when it helps, and adapt my teaching whenever something isn’t working for you.
I have hands-on experience as an English teacher, substitute teacher, oral examiner, and English camp teacher, and currently teach children aged 4–10 at Kids&Us. Being fluent in English, Turkish, Dutch, and French I understand language learning from different perspectives. My goal is simple: to make English feel natural, useful, and enjoyable — while helping you see real progress.
