I speak four languages fluently : Arabic, French, English and Turkish. I am currently learning Japanese. Thus as a language enthusiast, I urge people to get out of their comfort zones, learn new languages, and meet different people from different backgrounds.

My study techniques involve both traditional and modern method, depending on which section you would like to focus on. For example:
Reading comprehension: the student will be reading passages and answering questions regarding these passages. Meanwhile, as the tutor, I will focus on the student’s pronunciation and tone when reading, i will also provide help to the student if they face any difficulties with the comprehension questions. Finally, we can have an interactive conversation about what we read, engaging the student to express their opinions.
Listening practice: The student will be listening to to some audios (based on their level), taking notes is crucial while listening. Then again, the student will answer questions related to the audios.
Speaking: Which is the part that most students fear. I like integrating speaking practices into both reading and listening to make the student feel less intimidated. Besides the class material, i urge students to talk about what interests them (i.e. politics, sports, hobbies, ..etc).
Writing: Which is optional for students that are not pursuing an academic career. Mainly, we’ll focus on punctuation, vocabulary, unity, cohesion and coherence of the written essay.
Grammar: As boring as it is, learning grammar rules is vital to achieving fluency. I will publish summaries, tips and worksheets, for the student to practice in their free time.
Lastly,I would like to finish with the great Turkish saying “Bir lisan, bir insan”.
Additional notes:
*Sessions will be 45min long.
*I speak Turkish fluently. However,I don’t encourage the students to speak Turkish during class.
*Every student should take a standardized English exam to know their levels. I will also be conducting short interviews on the first class.
