Dustin ile ilgili bilgiler

Hey there, I’m Dustin.

If you’re an intermediate learner who feels stuck in a loop of basic small talk, generic textbook drills, and superficial grammar exercises, you’re in the right place.

I work with learners of all ages who want to use English as a genuine tool for high-level thought and communication. Instead of passive worksheets, my sessions are structured like an active seminar. We treat language as a medium for real ideas—delving into literature, history, philosophy, culture, and politics—so you build the vocabulary, precision, and confidence needed to express complex thoughts naturally. I view my students as intellectual peers, offering a patient, focused, and structured environment where true fluency actually happens.

How We Work Together:

Active Reading & Pronunciation: We read authentic, real-world texts out loud together. I adjust your rhythm, intonation, and pronunciation on the spot while expanding your vocabulary directly in context.

Writing & Essay Feedback: I give targeted writing assignments, red-line syntax and structural errors, and help you sharpen your written English so it matches the complexity of your ideas.

Deep Discussion & Debate: We unpack heavy, engaging topics that matter, giving you the floor to debate ideas and practice formulating nuanced arguments without second-guessing every word.

Whether you need to polish your academic writing, speak with greater natural rhythm, or simply want a stimulating space to push your English to the next level, I’m here to help you get there.

Available for in-person sessions in Karşıyaka / İzmir and online lessons. Drop me a message with a quick note about your background and what you're hoping to work on, and let's map out a plan!

After initial trial lesson and introduction, my lessons move to establishing creative content based on individual interests. I believe in meeting my students where challenge and passions intersect. Usually, I employ active reading and listening skills; reading in English from texts you already prefer and guiding you through pronunciation, understanding, confidence, and cadence. Followed with writing exercises that allow me to assess areas of improvement between writing and reading capabilities.  All included with stimulating conversation.
