Hi there, I'm Sedat. I live in Antalya, a city by the Mediterranean where the sun and sea are always present. I have a diverse background. I studied Economics in English at Istanbul University, and I started teaching Turkish completely by chance. My foreign friends wanted to learn, so I helped them, but over time I realized how enjoyable it was. That's why I want to continue here.
It's actually a really interesting experience to try to explain my native language, a language I use without thinking, to someone from scratch. I'm sure I'll discover something different about Turkish with each student.
Outside of class, I love reading books, watching movies from different countries, and researching topics related to history, economics, or science. So if you want to have a real conversation, we won't have any trouble finding a topic, not just language practice.

I can teach at any level. If you don't know Turkish at all, we'll start our lessons entirely in English. If you know a bit, we can jump right into speaking Turkish. That's the fastest way to improve.
