Teaching is not just a job for me; it is a true passion I have actively pursued for over 6 years. As an architect, I find immense joy in taking a complex blueprint and building it from the ground up. I feel that exact same excitement when I help a student unlock the logic of the Turkish language.
Many foreigners find Turkish intimidating because its structure is completely different from English. I teach because I want to eliminate that frustration. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a student’s "Aha!" moment when a complicated grammar rule suddenly makes perfect sense through a simple, logical explanation.
My goal isn't just to make you memorize phrases. I teach because I want to give you the structural tools to confidently build your own sentences, express yourself freely, and deeply connect with the rich culture of Türkiye.

Learning Turkish doesn't have to be a confusing guessing game. Hello, I am Belen! I am a native Turkish speaker born and raised in Istanbul, and I hold a Bachelor's degree in Architecture (studied 100% in English) with a TOEFL iBT score of 100.
Most native speakers teach by saying, "That's just how we say it." I don't. With 6 years of professional tutoring experience, I specialize in teaching Turkish to English speakers by actively explaining the logic and mechanics behind the grammar. Because of my advanced English proficiency, I can seamlessly translate complex Turkish concepts (like vowel harmony, agglutination, and cases) into concepts that make perfect sense to an English speaker.
Whether you are an expat working in Türkiye, a student, or simply in love with the culture, I offer comprehensive lessons from absolute beginner (A1) to advanced (C1) levels.
