Sürekli yeni teknikler araştıran, geliştiren ve deneyen bir öğretmen. En güçlü yanlarından biri ise öğrencilerin bireysel farklılıklarını ve ihtiyaçlarını analiz ederek kullanacağı tekniklere karar veriyor olması. Kendisi de öğrenmeyi çok sevdiği icin ögrencinin dilinden ve halinden anlaması tesadüf degil diye düşünüyorum. Ayrıca zengin hayal gücü ile en soyut kavramları bile çok büyük rahatlıkla anlatabiliyor. Farklı ülkelerde, farklı seviyelerde öğretmen eğitimleri vermis biri olarak, Sanat'ın çok saygı duyduğu öğretmenlik mesleğini samimiyet ve hevesle yapmakta oldugunu görmek beni çok mutlu ediyor.

I lived in Turkey as an expat for many years and I learnt Turkish on my own. Because of this I have a lot of grammar and writing problems that need to be fixed. Now I am Sanat’s student and together we are fixing my language problems and for the first time I see a concrete progress in my Turkish. She also gives me tips about the subtilies of different expressions, she also tells me about the secrets behind expressions that are know only by the native speakers and not shared with foreigners.
I confidently recommend Sanat as a teacher. And as soon as we finish our Turkish lessons, I will start having English grammar lessons with her! Because she is a translator graduated from Boğaziçi University, one of the top schools in Turkey.
I will end my note with a Turkish idiom:
"Dilimin sınırları, dünyamın sınırlarıdır."

Sanat is in my view a very warmhearted person. That is dedicated in here work to teach me Turkish. We work online one hour per a week, but she works a lot more hours to prepare before the meeting, that is very clear. She also puts in a lot of work in the preparation of the learning archive after our sessions . She exhibits knowledge in linguistics, art, Turkish Culture and a lot of different subjects . She engages herself in a way that exceeds all my expectations. She is a highly creative person that creates content for me as the student so I can have tools to learn in a more fun and easy way. These tools can be sound recordings, special made videos of a certain topic of interests, images, maps, documents with list of words and grammar. In addition to all her amazing skills, she is also a jazz singer, that means she has a good ear for sound. This is very helpful when it comes to listening to how words and phrases are pronounced. She has been my teacher for around 6 months now and I will keep on my work weekly for at least one year.
My plan is to be able to speak Turkish in a basic level after a year. I believe that, with the wonderful help from Sanat, this will happen!
